For those who want to rock, rattle, roll, boogie, or anything of the like - we present The Hook Club's extraordinary Classic Band, the ultimate choice for a high-energy and unforgettable party experience! With the Classic Band, we bring the same spirit and energy as the Full Band, but with a smaller footprint and a straightforward instrumentation that perfectly suits a variety of events and venues.

Starting with a classic rhythm section of guitar, keyboard, bass, and drums, we quickly add as many singers and horns to the band as possible! The Hook Club isn’t complete without our fantastic horn section, cemented over years of playing covers of our favorite bands - Tower of Power, Parliament-Funkadelic, Chicago, and Earth, Wind & Fire, etc. We ensure the dance floor is packed from start to finish, captivating guests with an electric atmosphere that keeps them grooving throughout the night.

What truly sets the Classic Band apart is our emphasis on crowd interaction and a go-with-the-flow style. Every performance is a one-of-a-kind experience, tailored to the energy and vibe of the moment.   • 7-PIECE CLASSIC BAND

    This is the original lineup for THC, and has proven time and time again that you do not need a huge band to have an incredible dance party! Our lead vocalists are masters at working the crowd, and the 4-piece rhythm section is stacked with a cast of characters that give us the energy of a band twice the size.

  • 8-PIECE CLASSIC BAND

    A third vocalist rounds out the vocal section , giving us the stamina we need for a night of non-stop dancing! For our third vocalist, we add on a soprano to make sure we have someone to sing the high notes. If you want Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and other pop divas, then a third vocalist is the way to go!

    Adding trumpet to the classic band really levels up the ‘classic’ feel of the band, giving us that interplay between the vocalists and the horn section that is perfect for funk, soul and R&B. If you want a hard-hitting sound with a lot of energy, then you need trumpet in your band!

    If you want to blow the roof off your wedding, you’ll want to add trombone! It gives the band a classic and funky vibe, and with a full horn section we can parade guests around the wedding!

    Up until now we’ve been adding musicians to the front of the band (singers and horns), but adding a live percussionist to the rhythm section gives us a much fuller sound and really deepens the groove! For a great funk and R&B sound, a percussionist is essential!
